SkillFrame · Ability
Problem Sensitivity
What it is
The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing that there is a problem.
Near-universal — important almost everywhere, so it differentiates little on its own.
Jobs that need it
Occupations that genuinely rely on this capability (O*NET importance ≥ 3 of 5), most-reliant first. Each opens its JobFrame profile.
Importance = O*NET rated importance of this element to that occupation. Jobs are secondary here — the capability is the anchor.
Expression by level
Illustrative. How a capability deepens by level — the development target — needs the owned capability model (per-level expression isn't in O*NET). The shape below is a design placeholder; the real progression lands with SkillFrame's taxonomy.
Related capabilities
Capabilities that co-occur in the same jobs — build one and the others come within reach.
Methodology
Jobs-that-need-it + rarity are real O*NET (importance ratings across 873 occupations; rarity = cross-occupation frequency — the differentiating signal). Definitions are a curated O*NET subset. Per-level expression is illustrative pending SkillFrame's owned taxonomy (built from postings + books + assessment science). Nothing here is fabricated as measured.
